HCA Training
Health Care Assistant Training in Primary Care - The way forward
Trinity nursing services Ltd provides training courses for Health Care Assistants working in Primary Care. Training packages are available and can be tailor made to suit the individual requirements of your establishment.
Health Care Assistants are valuable members of the primary healthcare team and they can provide extra capacity in general practice by freeing up the time of the Practice Nurses.
Appropriate training of the HCA with supervision and mentorship from a Registered Nurse is essential and will help the practice to achieve the best from the role. HCA competences need to be assessed and the role and responsibilities clearly defined.
Our HCA training packages include comprehensive written material, learning outcomes, competences, protocols and guidelines and an individual portfolio with certificates as evidence of learning. We offer a wide choice of training packages.
We offer basic, intermediate and advanced training packages which are suitable for all levels of HCA’s and which are dependant on their role and responsibilities. Training packages are devised according to the individual learning needs of the HCA.
Trinity Nursing Services can assign a nurse to teach, mentor and assess the HCA in practice as they go through the training programme and to provide ongoing support.
